This was a very quiet little park and good for an overnight (September 12, 2017). Not sure I’d want to spend a week here. On the other hand, I’d definitely like to explore Wisconsin more in the future. It’s been one of the prettiest places we’ve driven through on our Road Trip 2017 this summer.
Gravel and sand pad… sand is a problem. Finds its way inside too easily. And we were not level. We didn’t disconnect the truck as we’re here overnight only so… there is only so much front to back leveling possible. Consequently, we felt like we were sleeping inverted.
We are also near the playground but it’s quite vacant.
There were just enough trees around us to make me happy (so I don’t feel like I’m in a parking lot). The trees were just starting to turn colors, too, so it was picturesque.
This view was to the rear of us. Every time I walked the girls, I could hear something moving around loudly in the brush which creeped me out. I never did see what it was.
