We did not get to explore this area much as we were passing through for one night only, August 15, 2017. After our last campground that was less than desirable, we had a more pleasant experience and a more beautiful view here. Isn’t that sunset great?
I’m guessing this place is popular during the summer on weekends for local kids. I think you can get a day pass to hang out on the beach on this small lake. We would stay here again if we were back in this area, though.
I was able to pick out our spot online, which is a fantastic feature that I wish all campgrounds provided! We had a pull-through right on the lake positioned so that our passenger side was fully facing the lake.
And we have a great location for our new satellite dish!
